3.Onion: For light, early-stage rust, try rubbing it with an onion slice. The juice reacts with the rust to loosen it and helps polish the metal surface at the same time.
4.Tamarind Paste: A time-tested Thai wisdom! Mix tamarind paste with a bit of water to form a thick cream. Apply it to the rust and leave for 1 hour. The natural acids will soften the rust, making it easy to scrub away.
5.Ketchup: Believe it or not, leftover ketchup works! Dab it on the rust and leave it overnight. The citric acid in tomatoes will break down the rust for you.
